A typical hunting day in the Faleme area

• In the Faleme hunting area, especially at the Lion Lodge, we do not accept more than 2 or 3 hunters at a time for minimum 2 days, this being due to the heavy logistics required by big game hunting.

• After arrival, checking and setting of your armon target.

• In the evening, with the guide's help you will choose the game to be hunted on the following day. This will determine the hunting territories, all requiring a very early morning departure (between 4 and 5 a.m.) in order to be there before sunrise.

• At the beginning of sunrise, search of tracks.

• After 3-5 hours' walk, a few animals seen and shot, return to the lodge where a drink and a shower will be welcome (hope you will take greats photos).

• Lunch at 1 / 1:30 p.m. before a necessary rest.

• 5 p.m. departure to nearby hunting territories where wart hogs are numerous.

• 7 p.m., return to lodge, dinner between 8 and 9 p.m.

• After dinner, a good night sleep will be necessary.

This typical hunting day can be modified, depending on your physical condition and desires.
