MAKO, SARAYA, FALEME, FORGOLOMBI, KEDOUGOU The gold seekers Early morning departure in 4WD along the track, through small villages. You will see superb trees : the kapok tree, tiny baobabs ; animals such as wart hogs, antelopes, monkeys, hundreds of birds as well as giant ant-hills.

12h00 : arrival at Faleme Lodge where you'll have a walk along the river and will see a group of hippopotamuses bathing and even hear the roaring of lions. You will discover a wild world, still unknown, where things haven't changed for centuries. Women are seeking gold in the river, using traditional methods.
